I’m Dawson A. Oliver

I like to write and do not do it enough. This site is an attempt to change that. My idea for the structure is this:

(1) Notes: Things I read, watch, and listen to that strike me as worth revisiting.

(2) Essays: A space for longer-form work. I plan to chose a topic at the start of a month, spend time with it, and then publish something more considered at the end.

(3) Photos: Photographs taken by me (I will try to keep the ratio of dog:non-dog photos at an agreeable balance.)

The aim is to keep a record of what I’m paying attention to, and to have one place where I keep my mind clear and refreshed.
